S2 Week 7 - Lewis and Clark and Me

     Dear parents,

Welcome back to school! I hope you and your families had a restful break and are excited to begin a new school year.

Here are a few important notes to help us start the year smoothly:

  • Spelling Bee Preparations!
Dear Parents and Students,
This is a reminder that the Grade 4 Spelling Bee word list will begin with the YLE Flyers vocabulary and will progressively advance to the KET (Key English Test) word list.
Students are expected to prepare and practice both sets of vocabulary thoroughly, as the Spelling Bee is a highly competitive event that requires strong spelling accuracy, confidence, and readiness across all levels of difficulty.

Please note that all official rules and competition guidelines will be posted and shared in advance. Students are strongly encouraged to review these carefully to ensure full understanding of the expectations and procedures. There will be no exception to the SAY-SPELL-SAY rule.

We appreciate your support in helping students prepare diligently for this important academic event.
  • No classes on Wednesday, March 25 because of our first experience outing!
