S1 W16 - Happy Birthday, Mr. Kang

Because of disruptions in our week next week, we have decided to move the unit test to Monday, December 22. This unit test will be the final one of the semester before our final exams. I am asking all students to study and review seriously. Their grades, behavior, and participation will all be taken into consideration, as the school may make leveling adjustments for next semester if necessary.

Here is what we completed today: Went over Week 11 vocabulary #11-19 We would like to inform grade 4 students and parents that beginning Week 11, Friday, November 14, our weekly quizzes and tests will return to being held on Fridays. This adjustment comes as the swimming program has now concluded, allowing us to resume our regular academic schedule. The first quiz under this updated schedule will take place on Friday, November 14, and will cover the vocabulary and spelling words from “Good-Bye, 382 Shin Dang Dong.” Students are encouraged to review the vocabulary, and spelling concepts from the story located in the communication book on page 59 in preparation.
